RSS (really simple syndication), enables you to subscribe to an information feed that gets delivered directly to an RSS reader or Web browser. It is the most efficient way to consume massive amounts of information that interests you.
For example, on my blog, my RSS feed is displayed on the left hand side and updates me with information about an Online Journalism blog I am subscribed to.
- Subscribing to news alerts at Google or Yahoo and adding them to your RSS feed can be very valuable.
- Download a new browser, especially if you are not currently using FireFox.
- The only limits on your understanding of how the Web and digital content work are your curiosity and willingness to try something new.
New York Mets SS Jose Reyes, played only 36 games last season because of a torn right hamstring tendon. Reyes is now fully recovered and ready for the 2010 season.
“I’ll be ready in 2010. Be there, it’s going to be a show,” Reyes said. “Even when I was in my house watching the games, it made me cry a lot of times because when I’m talking about my leg, it always was in pain last year. The pain really never goes away. It was kind of tough for me and my family.”
Mets fans should be extremly excited about Reyes’s return. The Mets have arguably the best infield in baseball with David Wright at 3B, Reyes at SS, and an eventual Hall of Famer in Carlos Delgado at 1B.
This offseason the Mets signed OF Jason Bay from the Boston Red Sox which should give the Mets another powerful bat. And with Johan Santana healthy the Mets are looking really good in the 2010 season.
